Liverpool Football Club
case study
The big idea
- Bespoke features unique to LFC
- Refurbish all three lounges in a tight scope
- Install AV throughout all spaces
- Bring in a variety of high class furniture
Nailing the brief
Liverpool Football Club wanted its VIP lounges to be modernised, bringing them in line with other recently refurbished spaces in the stadium. This required new finishes throughout, including digital wall coverings, new flooring and a host of bespoke features. The fit-out needed to be integrated with new mechanical and electrical systems throughout all three rooms, including lighting, air conditioning and audio visual systems.
The work had to be completed between football seasons, which meant a very tight deadline of only 9 weeks. LFC needed to work with a company that could give a cast-iron guarantee to finish on time and to the highest standards, and this was where Claremont differentiated itself. Our team’s meticulous time and contingency planning allowed it to foresee potential delays and work to avoid them.
By increasing manpower and bringing our team in on evenings and weekends, we were able to deliver the project within the required timeframe, allowing LFC to make use of the new lounges as soon as the season began.
The final result
The refurbished lounges have a host of bespoke features that evoke the unique energy and vibrancy of Liverpool Football Club’s culture and story. The digital wallcoverings feature specially commissioned artwork that references key moments in the club’s history, quotes from its most colourful characters and commentary from some of its most memorable matches. These touches are complemented by ceiling rafts with wood beams to bring a warmth to the space, while the catering units and banquet seating provide the comfort and facilities to ensure the high standard of hospitality the club aims to deliver.
