Arcadis
case study
The big idea
Arcadis sought to design a workspace that promotes creativity, flexibility and well-being for its colleagues. Flexibility is essential for Arcadis, ensuring that every square inch of the space they occupy is Fully utilised and adaptable to the evolving needs of the business. Additionally, the workspace also needed to align with the company’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, with a focus on sustainability.
Nailing the brief
In line with Arcadis’ Global Design Standard which roots their spaces in local architecture, culture and art, the Leeds office has been brought to life with bolder colours inspired by Yorkshire born artist David Hockney. This is paired with black exposed ceilings and ductwork, contributing to an industrial aesthetic.
The final result
The completed space offers Arcadis’ colleagues a functional, flexible, and visually striking workspace that meets the company’s vision and values. By developing a creative, flexible and sustainable workplace, colleagues feel valued by the business and foster a strong sense of belonging within the brand.
