Mondelez / Grenade
case study
Claremont has delivered a very sensitive and clever workspace that helps us retain our unique brand identity, without it feeling out of place in the wider office. The space shows our personality and gives us the choice and flexibility our teams need to collaborate keep growing the business.
Grenade
Nailing the brief
The interior design strikes a careful balance between giving Grenade a distinct on-brand workspace and ensuring it still feels seamless with the rest of the building – which was also fit-out by Claremont at the same time.
Branded floor mats, soft seating and oversized fun brand props have been used to create a sense of arrival in Grenade’s space, without jarring with the aesthetic of the Mondelez office as a whole.
The finished design supports hybrid working and enables greater collaboration by taking the emphasis away from traditional desking and using a more flexible and open layout. Now, the space features distinct neighbourhoods for different tasks, meetings and group work. The team can also take advantage of neighbouring AV-enabled collaboration zones, touchdown seating and a refreshment point in the wider office.
To support the specific needs of Grenade’s retail team, a variety of storage solutions and wall fixings have been incorporated so that products and merchandise can be displayed when needed and put away when not in use.
The design also maximises the office’s outlook over Bournville village’s cricket field, with a recharge zone located to take in the views.
The final result
Grenade now has a collaborative studio space to support its rapid growth. The project is a celebration of careful storytelling as both the Grenade and Mondelez brands sit comfortably alongside each other.
