Award winning restaurant group San Carlo has relocated its headquarters to a new iconic location, Arkwright House, a stunning grade II-listed building in central Manchester. After exceptional growth and becoming the UK’s largest independent family-owned restaurant group it was crucial for San Carlo to find a headquarters which made their team feel at home.

One Team, One Family, One New Home
San Carlo chose Claremont to create a luxury workplace, with a space which reflects hospitality and most importantly the brand. Claremont created a colour concept which was developed from a palette of colours that reflected the Sicilian landscape as nod to the roots and heritage of the Distefano family.
The space is finished to a luxury standard through wall panelling, soft lighting and walnut wood detailing to compliment the listed status of the building – making the space feel like it always meant to be there. Bringing the space together, visitors are welcomed by a large blossom tree as reference to the recent and hugely successful San Carlo restaurant within Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport and meeting rooms which are all linked to the San Carlo restaurant portfolio through different styling and naming.
Claremont has successfully created a unified and fluid workspace that embodies the brand identity and its people. The design not only equips San Carlo’s colleagues with the resources to elevate productivity but also fosters stronger team cohesion. The workspace includes dedicated zones for focused tasks, communal meeting areas to foster innovation and collaborative thinking, and a vibrant breakout area complete with authentic Italian coffee.
We’re delighted with our new head office.
